Acne Creams And Remedy Tips

Acne creams play a very important role in the treatment of acne. Use the cream twice a day, after cleansing, preferably in the morning and before bed.

The oils, vitamin A and E, and minerals in the creams help to feed, rebuild, and revitalize your skin. Some creams and oils have an anti inflammatory effect, which means they can help calm down the inflamed processes in the skin. Emu oil is something you might like to try. Despite being an oil, it is very light, and is an excellent anti-inflammatory. I've used it when I broke out in bad allergic hives, whist waiting to see the doctor.

Tree Tea Oil

It is possible to make acne creams even more effective by adding 5-10 drops of pure tree tea oil to a two-ounce container. Do not use more than 15 drops. It has been found that Tree tea oil is effective for various skin disorders. It acts as an antiseptic, antifungal, and antibacterial. It eliminates bacteria and fungus by providing oxygen to the cells, and helping to repair the damaged skin caused by acne.

Borage Oil

Acne creams can enhance their properties if borage oil is added to them. Borage oil is a remedy that helps to control excess hormones that cause over production of sebum. During teenage the adrenal glands produce large quantities of androgens. These androgens help to activate bone growth and sexual maturity. The release of excess oil from the glands near the hair follicle is a side effect of these androgens. This excess oil gives rise to black heads, white heads, pimples and cysts. However, if you develop any rash or skin reactions while using these, it is advised to discontinue their use.
